Avro Vulcan B1As XA909, XH505 and XH502 of Waddington Wing at RAF Luqa in May 1964 during Exercise Sunspot. Note how the City of Lincoln crest, seen just below the fin cap of 505, was not replaced when the Waddington Wing aircraft were camouflaged. 909 was delivered to No 101 Squadron in October 1957. It subsequetly saw service with both 101 and 50 Squadrons before being pooled into the Waddington Wing. Converted to B1A standard in 1962, 909 crashed on Anglesey in July 1964.
