Canadian Armed Forces Lockheed CC-130H Hercules 130332 of No 436 Squadron CAF at CFB Trenton, Ontario in 1978. The black 'nipple' forward of the static head on the Vulcan is the aerial of one of four Blue Saga radar warning receivers that were superseded by the ARI 18228 (with squared fin aerials). The earlier system only gave the quadrant of the threat whilst the '228' gave the relative bearing. In the foreground are the static vents.
