There's something horribly wrong here! 300' finals with four fuel-flow dolls' eyes white? KERASHHH!!!! The partial background gives away the flat screen visual of a flight simulator. The airfield in the gloom appears to be a model of Coningsby. In the late 70s, there were two simulators in use: the OCU one at Finningley (no visual) and the other at Waddington. I believe one had come back from Cyprus in bits. There was no motion and the 'feel' was only an approximation of the aircraft. They were originally built by General Precision Systems and each had an analogue computer. The visual was initially back-projected onto a flat screen that had to be moved left or right for the flying pilot. Later a mod was introduced that utilised a wrap-round mirror which was more convenient and lifelike. The picture was generated by a colour TV camera that moved over an enormous scale model.
